Join us for an exhilarating start to your Thanksgiving at the 4th Annual Daytona Beach Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on November 28, 2024! Lace up your sneakers and be ready at 8:30 am to hit the scenic course as the sun rises over the beautiful Daytona Beach. Every participant will proudly receive a finisher medal, and for those aiming for the top spots, custom age group awards await the winners. 7:30 a.m. – Registration & Pre-Registrations Opens
8:30 a.m. – 5k Run/Walk - Chip Timed 
9:30 a.m. - Free Kids Tot Trot (50-100 meters)

TEE SHIRTS
Shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants or until sold out online. You will know if a shirt size is "sold out" because the shirt size will say sold out.

AWARDS
Awards will be provided to the top 3 Males and Top 3 Females and top 3 in the following age groups: include 6 & under, 7-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74-75-79, 80-84,85-89, 90+

DAY OF REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK UP
Packet pickup will take place on race day at race site from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

PARKING
Parking is plentiful next to the race start location. The race starts and ends at the same location. 

TIMING & SCORING
This is a chip timed and scoring event. Awards will be provided to the top 3 Males and Top 3 Females and top 3 in the following age groups: include 6 & under, 7-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74-75-79, 80-84,85-89, 90+

FAQ

Where do I park?
Free parking is available at the race location. .

How long is the course?
The 5K is 3.1 miles on the beach. 

How will I be timed?
Yes, this is a chip timed event and there will be a clock at the finish line for all to see their time. Results will also be posted online. 

When and where do I pick up my registration materials?
Information coming soon! 

Who gets a T-shirt?
Only pre-registered runners that successfully complete the registration and payment processes seven weekdays before the race are guaranteed a free race t-shirt. Several hundred additional shirts are printed for the race. Once a shirt size is sold out you will not be able to order that size. 

What if I need help along the way?
Qualified emergency medical professionals are available to provide assistance at the start/finish lines.

Can I participate in the event with my dog?
No, dogs are not permitted in the race. 

Can I participate with a stroller?
Yes, nurturing future generations of runners is a priority and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is special. Please, however, start in the latter part of the runners.

Should I bring my own water?
Yes, but there will be a  water station on the course as well as at the finish.

Can I get my money returned?
We appreciate your race registration. We are unable to issue refunds. We are not in a position to credit your credit card or issue checks.

Will the race be held if it's raining?
The race is a "rain or shine" event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, such as in a rain coat or hat. Umbrellas can pose a safety hazard to others, so please do not bring them.

Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
We have a strict NO TRANSFER policy.
